Great Stroller, but...... January 7, 2010 D. McClendon (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really do love this stroller and I will say the quick fold mechanism is AWESOME. I see these other parents struggling to fold their strollers and all I have to do is pull the strap and BAM! It's folded. So Cool! The first week I got it, ppl were asking what kind it was and where they could also get one. I have noticed many ppl having issues with the stroller's alignment when they try to run with it. I found a reviewer who said that on many of these the front wheel peg was not mounted square when it was manufactured and after he contacted Baby Jogger for the replacement parts he fixed the problem and the stroller now tracks straight. He is able to run without any more issues (his wheel rims are still not straight). Overall I do love my stroller, but the wheels being uneven plus the square mounting issue of the front wheel are quality control issues that keep this stroller from being perfect.

M I N U S E S:
-Wheel rims are NOT straight and you immediately notice that if you look at them when you use the stroller (It doesn't impact the use of the stroller when walking or running-unless your are a sprinter:)
-Under seat storage is tough to get to which a child in your stroller.
-My 3 yr old is almost too tall for the seat
-There is not yet a car seat adaptor for one of the most popular infant seats on the market (Chico Keyfit)
-All the accesories you have to buy (cupholders, bags, etc) make an expensive stroller even more so.
Great, functional stroller November 20, 2009 H. Enright (West Los Angeles, CA, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My wife and I looked at a lot of strollers before finally, with a bit of trepidation, buying this BJCC. Why the worry? All the strollers seem to trade some great function for another shortcoming. Was this one "too" heavy, what about laying flat?, why is it NOT a jogging stroller? Do we need that too? What's the difference between last year's model and this year? Etc, etc.
Well it turns out this is just right for just about anything we need. We use it as a jogger (it has a strap but no handbrake), it's not too heavy, though it doesn't lay flat our baby won't need that soon, this model was $200 LESS than the current year!
Enough said, it's great, no regrets.
Big, but good! November 18, 2009 AVB 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was really unsure about this stroller because of the size. I contemplated returning it for the smaller "mini", but liked the idea of an "all-terrain" stroller. I have to say that after 2 months of owning it, I could not be happier with my stroller. The swivel/straight front wheel option is great. This stroller pushes great and I can easily control it with one hand. My baby was 8 months when I purchased this, so he was a little swallowed in it, but was much more comfortable and secure than he was in the other stroller I own. I gave this 4 stars because while the fold-down is handy and simple, it's very fast and can result in hurt fingers and toes if you're not careful... some sort of pressure mechanism to slow the folding would help.
great stroller! November 3, 2009 Soon to be Mom (Hawaii) Great buy online, when I found it in the store-it was 2x as expensive- it's a great all-terrain stroller- and can handle light mileage jogging- such a GREAT sunshade- and I love how the back drops down almost completely flat for my 4 month old son- He loves it- it's roomy and like a limo for him, looking forward to using it years to come...
Awesome stroller! Perfect for a growing toddler! October 27, 2009 Ashlee (Miami, FL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I researched for months before ultimately purchasing the Baby Jogger City Classic. I am not a runner, but I do use this stroller for everything else. I love the way it handles...it's so easy to push and steer one-handed. The air-filled tires are a really nice feature, and so is the fact that it has shocks on the front tire. You barely feel bumps on rough terrain. The colors of the stroller are attractive and the fabric seems pretty durable. The sun shade is fantastic! It will keep the sun out of your childs eyes no matter what time of the day it is. It has some storage on the back of the stroller which is a nice feature, but I have yet to use it. The basket below is a decent size, but not very accessible at all. The biggest selling point for me was that it has a high seat. The seat back measures roughly 21" whereas similar strollers measure around 17". This was very important to me because my 2 year old is very tall for his age. My son fits in this stroller very well, with tons of room to grow. He seems very comfortable, also. The foot rest is better than a lot of jogging/all terrain strollers. It can be easily cleaned and it provides plenty of room for children with longer legs. The adjustable handle is nice, parents of all heights can push it comfortably. This stroller folds very easily and isn't too heavy compared to others in its class. My only realy complaint is that once it's folded up, it's very awkward. There's not a good place to pick it up and carry it, and it doesn't latch together once it's folded so it comes apart easily. However, it folds up fairly compactly and takes up less than half of the trunk in my nissan altima. This is a great all around stroller. Great for walks on any terrain and for shopping (just be careful because the back wheels are very wide-set, so you will have trouble fitting between clothing racks!).
